Republic of Serbia signs bilateral agreement on scientific cooperation with Italy

Vice-president of Serbian government for EU integration and minister for science and technology, Bozidar Djelic, and foreign minister in Italian government, Franco Frattini, signed an agreement on scientific cooperation between two countries on December, 21st, 2009.

Agreement has been signed with aim to stregthen and facilitate cooperation in fields of biomedicine and biotechnology, agriculture and food, energy, environmental sciences, nanotechnology and new materials, ICT and telecommunications and natural sciences (math, physics, chemistry and biology). This agreement replaced the old one, signed between Italy and Yugoslavia, at 1980.
