Survey was performed in may, 2010 with 756 participants, out of which 48% men and 51% women. Most of the participants were researchers from the technical-technological, basic sciences and biotechnology sector. Some of the most interesting findings were: 75% of the respondents does not even think of leaving the country in the future. Out of the reminding researchers who plan to work abroad in the future, most of them emphasized living conditions, low salaries and lack of infrastructure as the main reasons for their decision. Regarding the role of the Ministry for science and technological development, positive comments include dynamics, agility and effort, visible impact, etc. Negative comments include low financing, lack of communication and too much of bureaucracy. Main targets for improvement of international cooperation are European Union countries, in following order: Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, etc.
