Faculty of Information Technology in Belgrade is an independent academic institution offering career-focused education through five bachelor’s degree and two master’s degree programs. FIT introduces contemporary technical concepts and provides students with quality practice in areas such as information technology, operational management, marketing and graphic design.
Its facilities are equipped with advanced ICT infrastructure. FIT is the first faculty in Serbia that was licensed for e-Learning program by the Ministry of Education. The fully professional e-Learning system, developed and implemented on ORACLE application server platform, supports online degree programs and flexible scheduling for working students. Many of them are worldwide: Mexico, Dubai, Greece, Spain. FIT is the only one in Serbia to provide equal education on both in-class and e-Learning studies, and through all five academic programs and for all levels of study. Regarding methodology specifics, FIT delivers widely recognized model of hands-on, real world problem solving teaching, combined with classroom instructions and cooperative work experience. Apart from team work and professional skills, FIT develops creativity and independency at work, it challenges students for innovative ideas, providing a new approach and researching minds. Strong partnership with IBM, ORACLE, Microsoft and SYBASE provides FIT students with the latest technologies delivered by these companies.
