ResearchComp self-assessment tool

This comprehensive self-assessment will evaluate your research competencies across all 7 domains of the Research Competency Framework (ResearchComp). You'll be learning about ResearchComp by assessing 38 individual competencies by selecting criteria that apply to your current skills and experience. The tool shows preliminary results after each category of skills - attractive radar plot which you can download and share. After completing all categories, you'll receive a detailed overview of your competencies along with personalized charts that you can download for your portfolio or development planning.

The assessment takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

Assessment Overview:

• 7 Categories: Managing Research, Making an Impact, Self Management, Cognitive Abilities, Working with Others, Managing Research Tools, Doing Research
• 38 Competencies: Each with detailed criteria across 4 levels (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)
• Personalized Results: Individual bar charts for each category plus an overall competency profile
• Downloadable Reports: Save your charts as images for portfolio or development planning
